Sample
Your visit includes a thorough mold or water damage inspection of your entire conditioned home. We start with the areas you're concerned about, then check the places where homes most commonly have problems, and finish with a walkthrough of the whole house. Samples are collected and sent to an accredited lab.
Lab Report
You receive the laboratory report, plus a follow-up phone call to walk you through the results and answer any questions you may have.

Which Test Do I Need?
It depends on your question — what's in the air, what's growing on a surface, or what your doctor has asked for. We'll help you choose.
Are Store-Bought Test Kits Accurate?
They can be hard to interpret. Professional samples go to an accredited lab, and you receive the full laboratory report.
My Doctor Asked for ERMI or HERTSMI-2. Do You Do That?
Yes. Some physicians request ERMI or HERTSMI-2 testing, and we collect those samples regularly.
How Fast Will I Get Results?
Air and surface samples taken by 3 PM ET usually come back the next business day. You receive the laboratory report, and we walk you through it.
What Does It Cost?
Air cassette and surface sampling starts at $495, which includes the inspection, the first two samples, the lab report, and a follow-up phone call. Each additional air or tape sample is $45. ERMI testing is $595, including the first sample. Each additional ERMI sample is $295.

Do I Need Testing If I Can Already See Mold?
Often, no — and we'll tell you when it isn't worth your money. If you can see mold, the next step is usually a plan to remove it. Testing earns its keep when you can't see the problem, when your doctor has asked for specific data, or when you want confirmation after work is done.
