What Is a Sick Home, and What Does CIRS Have to Do with My House?
Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) is a medical diagnosis made by doctors. From the home's side, a "sick home" is a house that may look clean and dry but carries elevated levels of mold, bacteria and the fine dust they produce, often from water damage that was fixed cosmetically but never cleaned up. When a doctor says a home may be making the family sick, the home is what we inspect.
Mold Relief has worked with doctor-referred clients for more than 15 years. The work is property-focused: a mold or water damage inspection of the entire conditioned home, ERMI or HERTSMI-2 testing when the doctor asks for it, and a written remediation plan that protects the family first. ERMI Testing is $595. Includes one sample and the lab report; each additional sample $295.
